ISCC PLUS certification

AnQore and our raw material suppliers have gone through the process of ISCC PLUS certification. This process is relatively straightforward, but it requires a good preparation and multiple departments in the organization that are ready to support the implementation of the required mass balance accounting system.

If after visiting the ISCC PLUS website you would like to know more on what it means to go through the certification process than feel free to get in touch with us.

Steps we took

First we formed a small project team. This included people from Finance, Customer Service, Marketing and Sales, IT, R&D and Purchasing.

Secondly we approached our suppliers. If our suppliers would not be certified, it would make it much more difficult for us to get our certificate. As a result, one of our suppliers started its own certification process.

Then we planned the audit with the auditor. This can take some time depending which certified auditing firm is used. We had to wait for several months before we could be audited.

Fourthly, the project team prepared the audit by summarizing our production process, together with supportive data. This summary helped us to explain how we convert our raw materials into the final products. It formed the basis for the administration for Econitrile. We decided to keep our records outside of our ERP for the time being. We can always change this. For now, our Finance department records the purchases of sustainable raw materials and the conversion into Econitrile in an excel file.

During the audit all the people of the project team were present, together with our CEO. We answered all the questions from the auditor and received some initial feedback.

Finally, we were awarded our certificate from ISCC PLUS. You can find this here on their website. We have been re-certified and our new certificate has been awarded to us. You will be able to find this on the website once published.
